Integrated Management System (IMS) Policy
Quality · Environment · Occupational health and safety
At Grupo INEL, we work to deliver comprehensive, best-in-class solutions for the mining sector, specializing in the rental and operation of mobile screening and crushing plants, specialized technical support, and aggregate extraction and processing.
We are guided by an unwavering commitment to quality, innovation, technical expertise, equity, and sustainability. We uphold the highest operating standards to position ourselves as a leading, reliable, and responsible strategic partner in the mining market, consistently exceeding our clients' expectations and fostering the inclusion and continuous development of our team.
Across our corporate activities, maintenance facilities, warehouses, and work fronts at mine sites throughout Chile, the General Management of Grupo INEL formally declares the following commitments:
Continuous improvement
Continuously improve Grupo INEL's processes and the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System (IMS) for Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health and Safety, ensuring the timely allocation of human, technological, and financial resources.
Operational excellence and continuity
Ensure client satisfaction through services and products that fully meet the technical particle-size specifications, with high-performance, high-availability machinery, operational continuity in the field, and regular measurement of client satisfaction.
Legal compliance and other commitments
Strictly comply with the legal requirements applicable in Chile, notably Law No. 16,744, the Mining Safety Regulations (D.S. 132), D.S. 594, D.S. 44, D.S. 148, and the Extended Producer Responsibility (REP) Law No. 20,920, as well as regulatory requirements and other commitments voluntarily undertaken with our mining clients.
Environmental protection and sustainability
Protect the environment and prevent pollution at our sites and in our communities by controlling particulate matter/silica and noise emissions from crushing, preventing hydrocarbon spills, using water, energy, and fuel efficiently, and sustainably managing hazardous waste (RESPEL) and lubricants.
Safe and healthy work environments
Protect the life, health, and physical integrity of all workers and contractors by providing safe and healthy working conditions to prevent injuries, accidents, and ill health in highly demanding operations.
Hazard elimination and risk reduction
Systematically eliminate hazards and reduce OHS risks by applying the hierarchy of controls and critical controls in high-risk operations (lockout/tagout, LOTO, and task-specific PPE), supporting every worker who stops an unsafe task.
Consultation and active participation
Encourage the consultation and active participation of workers, their representatives, and the Joint Health and Safety Committee (CPHS), fostering ongoing dialogue and a safe, equitable, and inclusive workplace free from harassment and violence (Law No. 21,643).
Competencies and a culture of prevention
Develop our team's competencies through onboarding, training, and ongoing coaching, strengthening visible leadership by supervisors and a culture of quality, environmental care, and self-care.
Contractors and suppliers
Require contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to comply with this Policy and the IMS standards, applying quality, environmental, and OHS criteria in their selection, evaluation, and control.
The people behind every operation
A team that operates, maintains, and trains its people in-house.
