Technical training that makes the difference: INEL at ASTEC in the United States
In an increasingly demanding and competitive mining environment, the technical preparation of the team is not an added value: it is a necessity. That is why at INEL we not only work with leading-edge technology, we also make a point of training the people who operate, maintain, and optimize it.
Recently, Rodrigo González, INEL's Machinery Manager, traveled to Albany, Oregon (United States) to take part in intensive training at the facilities of ASTEC Industries, one of the world's most recognized manufacturers of crushing and screening solutions.

During his stay, Rodrigo immersed himself in hands-on technical training focused on high-performance equipment, deepening his knowledge of the maintenance, diagnostics, and advanced operation of mobile crushers, with special emphasis on the ASTEC Titan 300 cone crusher. This unit, used in secondary and tertiary crushing stages, was disassembled and reassembled as part of the training, which made it possible to understand in depth the technical logic of its components, from its hydraulic block to its safety system.
But the training did not stop there. The program also covered other ASTEC machinery lines, addressing topics such as process optimization, interpretation of common failures, analysis of critical components, good operating practices, and industrial safety protocols. All of this with a practical approach, aimed at improving response times in the field and ensuring equipment availability under complex operating conditions.
“We are always training to stay at the forefront of the mining industry, so we can offer better service to our clients,” says Rodrigo, summing up the spirit behind this experience.

This initiative not only represents professional growth for our machinery manager, it also reinforces INEL's larger purpose: raising the standard of technical service in Chilean mining, combining high-level technology with a team prepared to deliver real answers in the field.
In a context where equipment cannot fail and operational continuity is everything, the difference is in the people. And at INEL, we keep betting on them.
INEL. Technology that moves. People who respond.
